No Registration or Entries will be taken after the closing Date or on the Day of the Championships, so please do not ask, as we do not wish to offend.

All 47 Championship Categories (22 Kata and 25 Kumite) available are dependent on numbers entered. Any Categories with low entries may be merged with the nearest Category to your Age and/or Grade. We cannot guarantee sufficient entries for every Category.

The Full Event Schedule, i.e. Start Times, Athletes Entry Lists and Categories etc, will be emailed to every Registered Athlete's or Coach's email address that was used when the Athlete or Coach Registered Online, or if you Registered via the Emailed Entry Form, either way, you will receive the email on Thursday 1st March 2012.

Kata and Kumite Categories:

Kata and Kumite Rules are as per the WUKF, but with modifications to suit these Prestigious Open Karate Championships.

1. Male Individual Peewee Kata - Up to 7 years old - 4th kyu and below
2. Male Individual Junior Kata - 8 to 11 years old - 4th kyu and below
3. Male Individual Teen Kata - 12 to 15 years old - 4th kyu and below

Venue Facilities; Free Car Parking, Bleacher Seating that will accommodate up to 1,000 people, Male and Female Changing Rooms, Showers, Secure Lockers and Toilets etc, Separate Bar (Non Alcoholic on UMA Event Days), Snack and Drinks Machines, there is a McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Fish and Chip Shop, Indian and Chinese Fast Food Takeaway's etc, all within 1 to 3 minutes of the Venue.

Driving Directions to Moorways Leisure Complex:

From J25 M1 exit and take the A52 toward Derby. After about 4.5 miles exit onto the A5111/Raynesway. Turn right at the Raynesway Park island onto A6/Raynesway. Straight over at next island onto A5111/Raynesway, turn right next island onto A5111/Harvey Road. Then straight over (under the odd bridge) onto A5111/Osmaston Road. Finally turn left onto Moor Lane. There is Free Parking at the Venues Car Park..
