Contest Elimination Explained:

2 Player Contest 'Best of 3 Elimination':

The 2 Players compete in the best of 3 Contests to find1st and 2nd place.

3 Player Contest 'Pool Elimination':

3 Players all compete against each other to find 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

4 - 8 - 16 - 32 Player Contest 'Direct Elimination':

Is as it says, if you win, you go through to the next round, if you lose then you are out of the elimination process to find 1st, 2nd and 3rd place/s.

See the example Elimination with Repechage Chart below to find 1st, 2nd and 3rd place/s:

 

Examples explained:

 

Player 1 v Player 2 First Round

Player 1 Moore wins the contest and goes through to the next round

Player 2 Smith Loses the contest and goes into the Repechage Section

 

Player A v Player B Second Round

Player A Moore wins the contest and goes through to the next round

Player B Jones Loses the contest and goes into the Repechage Section

And so on to find the Winner and Runner up from the Final Two Players.

 

Repechage 1st Round Player 2 v Player 3

Player 2 Smith wins the contest and goes through to the next round of Repechage

Player 3 Brown Loses the contest and is Eliminated

 

Repechage 2nd Round Player 2 v Player B

Player 2 Smith wins the contest and goes through to the next round of Repechage

Player B Jones Loses the contest and is Eliminated

And so on to find the 3rd place Candidate from the Repechage rounds.

Every Player Entered and Competing is Guaranteed a minimum of 2 Contests
