The Sad Loss of Life of a
U.M.A. Affiliate Member: Paul 'Gilly' Gilligan
The sad News that one of the
U.M.A.'s Affiliate Clubs 'Combat Base Bolton' which is run by our own U.M.A.
Chief Officer and U.M.A. Senior Officer for B.J.J. and B.J.J. Instructor Carl
Fisher's Students Paul "Gilly" Gilligan was stabbed to death and murdered by a
knife wielding thug in his home town of Bolton in Lancashire only just a few
days ago. Everyone here at the U.M.A. are totally shocked with disbelief with
regards to the terrible loss of life of one of our own. The U.M.A have forwarded
on our condolences and respects to Carl and Paul's Family.
Please pay your respects and join the cause to stop the knife culture in the
U.K. and please support Carls fantastic efforts to aid and to support Paul's
Family.
There is a Special Face Book Page dedicated to Paul, there are also special
wrist bands being made to help raise money for Paul's Family, and Carl will be
arranging a Special B.J.J. Open Mat and Team B.J.J. Championships in honour and
also in memory of Paul, soon in the coming future, and all funds raised will be
donated to Paul's Family.
So please support Carl's Campaign in Memory of his own Student and Friend Paul,
and to help raise much needed funds for Paul's Family.
