Ricky Gillon and
Battlefield Gym in Glasgow Scotland become Members of the UMA
The UMA's Chief Officer and UMA BJJ
Coach and Instructor Carl Fisher was back on the road, spreading the gospel of
jiu jitsu for the UMA in the city centre of Glasgow in bonny Scotland.
Carl was invited to the Battlefield Gym in Renfrew Street by gym owner Ricky
Gillon, the UMA's newest members where an afternoon of jiu jitsu was enjoyed by
the students, including a number of active MMA fighters from the gym.
Ricky is keen to introduce jiu jitsu to the gym and the fighters into Gi's in a
bid to help improve their ground game.
A decent turn out welcomed Carl for the afternoon, even though it was a Bank
Holiday that weekend and all involved enjoyed the session, hopefully leaving the
gym with a couple of new tricks up their sleeves.
Carl is now the BJJ coach for the gym and will return on monthly basis to keep
an eye on the progress of the students and will be working closely with Ricky on
a number of projects designed to further spread the development of BJJ in the
area.
